2022 Amaze Yourself Scholarship
Landau Uniforms is honored to inform you of our 2022 Amaze Yourself Scholarship. This past year, the importance and necessity of health care providers have been made clear. They have amazed us all! The Amaze Yourself Scholarship is determined to support an amazing, new generation of healthcare professionals dedicated to making a positive social impact by way of healing.
This is an amazing opportunity for prospective health care members. Receive up to $2,500 (1st), $1,500 (2nd), $1,000 (3rd) in scholarship money OR a Landau prize package (4th - 28th). The top scholarship winner will receive 4 packages a year from Landau that will be tailored to their needs as a student. Communication will need to stay open with the Landau team to ensure they are fully prepared to take on each chapter of academic pursuits.
This year, students can apply by submitting a video OR social post where they answer our prompts and tell us how amazing they are. Sallie Mae Scholarships
To help first-generation, low-income, and minority students access and complete college, The Sallie Mae Fund, the charitable arm of Sallie Mae®, has again partnered with Thurgood Marshall College Fund to offer scholarships through its Bridging the Dream Scholarship Program.
Who is eligible and how to apply:
•The Bridging the Dream Scholarship for High School Seniors: The Sallie Mae Fund will award (25) $10,000 scholarships to high school seniors who plan to enroll in a two- or four-year degree professional certificate, or vocational training program. Seniors who excel inside and outside of the classroom and demonstrate financial need can apply NOW through Feb. 28 at www.salliemae.com/landing/bridging-the-dream.

MARIETTA KIWANIS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
The scholarships listed below are awarded to students by the Kiwanis Club of Marietta through a competitive application process. We encourage all qualified individuals to apply for any of the scholarships described below. You may apply for more than one scholarship, but you must submit a separate application for each one. Please read the description and requirements for each scholarship carefully to ensure that you meet the application criteria.

This is a memorial scholarship established in 1988 by Mr. and Mrs. James L. Howard in memory of their late mothers, Mary Miller Turner and Ellie Morris Howard. This undergraduate scholarship is available to a student who is entering or attending an accredited college or university AND who is either a staff member of the Cobb County Schools or the Marietta City Schools or who is a dependent of such a staff member. This is a memorial scholarship established in 2001 by the Marietta Kiwanis Foundation in honor of the late Raymond Steve Tumlin, Sr., a dedicated Marietta Kiwanian, business, civic, and community leader in Cobb County. This scholarship was established in 2006 by the Marietta Kiwanis Foundation in honor of Mr. Bill Kinney, the Senior Associate Editor of the Marietta Daily Journal. This scholarship was established in 2010 by the Marietta Kiwanis Foundation to recognize those who are left behind. This scholarship is available to a dependent of a person who is either on active duty or employed in the reserve, or a veteran of the military, law enforcement, fire department, or EMT services. Applicants or their parents must reside or work in Cobb County. The applicant agrees that verification of dependency may occur during the selection process. This memorial scholarship was established in 2020 by the Marietta Kiwanis Foundation in honor of former Club President and outstanding community servant leader, Scott Chadwick. Applicants must be a graduate or undergraduate student entering or attending an accredited college or university. Wellstar Cobb Hospital Council on Volunteer Services Scholarship
To be eligible for Wellstar Cobb Hospital 2022 Council on Volunteer Services (COVS) Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Applicant must be pursuing a degree or certificate in the healthcare profession.
2. Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
3. Applicant must submit an OFFICIAL high school and/or college transcript and available aptitude and achievement tests.
4. Applicant must be enrolled or submit OFFICIAL proof of acceptance (if not currently enrolled) from the educational institution you will be attending in the State of Georgia.
5. Applicant must be a resident of Cobb County, Georgia.
6. Applicant must be a citizen of the United States or a permanent resident of the U.S. (proof of a permanent visa will be required at the time of the interview).

PLEASE NOTE:
The scholarship tuition will be paid in two installments of $1,250 directly to the college of your choice, if it meets the criteria as stated in the Wellstar Cobb COVS. The first payment will be made to the school at the beginning of the Fall term and the second payment will be made to the school in the Spring term after your official GPA grade is received (3.0 minimum GPA).

Get Into Energy Georgia Scholarship
The 2022 scholarship application is now open for Georgia high school seniors.
Scholarship criteria:
1. A minimum of five (5) – $1000 scholarships are available to be awarded.
2. A GPA of 2.5 or better is required to apply.
3. Scholarships will be awarded without regard to race, sex, creed, national origin or disability.
4. Students must submit an application in its entirety no later than 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 2, 2022
5. If selected, the recipient grants GEICC the right to use their name and photo(s) publicly for various publicity campaigns.
6. Please provide a PDF version of your latest transcript and photo in order to complete this application.

2022 Percy Julian Award and 2022 St. Elmo Brady Award
The Percy Julian award will be given to two High School Seniors (one male and one female) in recognition of scholastic achievement and leadership ability. Each recipient will receive a $1000 book scholarship and a one-year (student) membership in the American Chemical Society (ACS).
Qualifications for the Percy Julian award are as follows:
1. The Percy Julian award is open to African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, and other racial and ethnic minorities who are traditionally underrepresented in science.
2. Students applying must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5.
3. Applicants must plan to major in a STEM (traditional natural and physical science, technology, engineering, or math) discipline.
4. Applicants must plan to attend a college or university in the Fall 2022 semester.
5. Applicants must show evidence of leadership skills which promote racial, ethnic, and cultural understanding.
The St. Elmo Brady award will be given to a High School Senior in recognition of the goal of becoming a first-generation college student, their scholastic journey, personal integrity and perseverance. The recipient will receive a $600 book scholarship and a one-year (student) membership in ACS.
Qualifications for the St. Elmo Brady award are as follows:
1. The St. Elmo Brady award is open to African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, and other racial and ethnic minorities who are traditionally underrepresented in science.
2. Students applying must have an overall unweighted STEM GPA of between 2.8 and 3.4. For 2022 SAT/ACT score submission is encouraged but not required.
3. Applicants must be a first-generation college student (i.e., grand-parents, parents, or siblings have not earned a bachelor’s degree or higher).
4. Applicants must plan to major in a STEM (traditional natural or physical science, technology, engineering, or math) discipline.
5. Applicants must plan to attend a college or university in the Fall 2022 semester.
6. Applicants must show evidence of personal integrity and perseverance as demonstrated through leadership skills, academics, religious or other community-based extra-curricular activities, or work-related activities.

Cobb County Farm Bureau Scholarship
Cobb County Farm Bureau will award a total of up to $15,000 in scholarships to high school seniors or college students who plan to pursue a college degree in agricultural and Family/Consumer Sciences or a related agricultural field. Individual amounts will be awarded at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee. To be eligible to apply, a student must be a resident of Cobb County as of March 31, 2022.
Applicants must be accepted or enrolled in an accredited Georgia College, University, or Technical School during the 2022-2023 academic years, and pursuing a two-to-four-year degree in an area related to Agriculture, Forestry, or Family/Consumer Sciences.

Georgia Civitan Scholarships
The Georgia District Civitan Foundation offers scholarships annually to Georgia high school seniors as follows:

The Garnett Huguley Memorial Black Scholars Fund
The Garnett Huguley Memorial Black Scholars Fund is pleased to announce a merit-based scholarship that grants $10,000 annually to one African-American male graduating high school senior. The scholarship was established to honor the life and legacy of Garnett Huguley, an award-winning pharmaceutical sales executive, mentor/teacher, author and loving family man. Applications must be submitted by May 15. The scholarship recipient will be announced on June 15.
“Garnett was a lifelong scholar and someone who believed in the power of an educated Black mind. Throughout his life, he worked tirelessly to instill his core values of faith, service, hard work and education to our children and grandchildren as well as the many individuals he mentored,” said Cynthia Huguley, his devoted wife of 40 years. “It is my honor to help continue his remarkable legacy with the Garnett Huguley Memorial Black Scholars Fund. I am grateful to our family and friends who have contributed to make this scholarship possible and look forward to seeing its lasting impact on our community.”

The Quest for Excellence Scholarship, Sigma Pi at UGA
This scholarship is offered to all incoming freshmen men attending the University of Georgia in the fall, 2021.
These are two $1,000 scholarships awarded to deserving incoming freshmen men attending UGA Fall Semester 2021. Scholarship recipients are not required to join Sigma Pi. However, a bid to join Sigma Pi will be extended to scholarship winners as they will have demonstrated the same qualities we are looking for in members of our Fraternity.
The Quest for Excellence Scholarship is named after our Fraternity's goal for men "to be committed to a 'Quest for Excellence' in all areas of life." A brother of Sigma Pi is committed to excellence in everything he does – be it in the classroom or on the playing field. To be awarded The Quest for Excellence Scholarship, the applicant must be of good character, have a record of outstanding high school academic and extra-curricular achievement, and shown a commitment to service, leadership, and self-improvement.

Street Angels Scholars
The scholarship effort was initiated in 2008 as another opportunity to give back to the community. We believe that
pursuing an education at the post-secondary level is beneficial to the individual, the community and the economy.
Because of this belief, we have decided to assist six individuals in their pursuit of higher education by providing
educational funding. This year, we plan to award a total of three awards in the amounts of $1000, $750 and $500.
Any individual desiring to apply for the scholarship, must meet the following minimum criteria:
● Applicant must be an upcoming freshman entering a four-year college or university in 2021
● Applicant or a relative by blood or marriage must be a licensed motorcycle rider in the state of Georgia
